Dr. Christina Brown is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University and her Masters Degree and Ph.D. at Northern Illinois University. She has experience in psycho-educational and psychological assessment, therapy, and consultation for a broad range of behaviors. A practicing school psychologist for the past 10 years, her experience working in schools greatly benefits her school-aged clients and their parents, especially those experiencing challenges in the school setting. A supportive, collaborative clinician, Dr. Brown partners with her clients to identify areas of strength, current trouble spots, and to establish client-centered therapeutic goals. Her theoretical orientation is steeped in behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and solution-focused practices and techniques to help clients build skills, decrease symptomology, and improve outcomes. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families who are dealing with behavioral and/or emotional distress and want to change patterns of behavior that are preventing them from experiencing success.
